India’s Redmi Note 13 5G Android 14 HyperOS Update Is Coming

India’s Redmi Note 13 5G series is prepared for the HyperOS update. The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus models, along with the base model, will all get an update to switch to Xiaomi’s most recent Android 14-based user interface (UI), the company confirmed when it made the announcement on Friday.

It is noteworthy that in February of this year, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer introduced HyperOS UI to the Indian market. The company’s electric cars, smart home appliances, and smartphones will all support the new interface.

The business posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to announce the debut of HyperOS. Users of the Redmi Note 13 series in the nation are reportedly receiving the HyperOS upgrade, according to the manufacturer of smartphones. All users might not receive the update for a few days, though. In the future, updates will also be released for the Redmi Note 12 series.

Updated icons and fonts, a revamped Control Centre, and lock screen customisation are just a few of the additional features that HyperOS offers to the Redmi Note 13 5G series. Not to mention, the user interface has been greatly enhanced. New productivity features like Workstation Mode for tablets and the option to connect to the Xiaomi ecosystem are also included in the most recent update.

Users can now, for instance, view the screen of their phone on a tablet. As a single control centre, the Xiaomi Smart Hub gives users visibility into every smart home gadget that is placed in their house.

In an update, Xiaomi stated which smartphones are qualified for the HyperOS update for the second quarter of 2024 (April–June).

Xiaomi 11 Lite, Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 10, Redmi K50i, Redmi 12, Redmi 11 Prime, Redmi 13C series, and Redmi Note 1 are among the devices that qualify. In addition, it has been verified that the Xiaomi Pad 5 will also get the update.

In the meantime, a list of compatible smartphones that would receive HyperOS updates during the same time frame was also released by Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand, Poco. Poco F4, Poco M4 Pro, Poco C65, Poco M6, and Poco X6 Neo are some of these smartphones.
