Reaction Stickers in Stories, View-once Media, and more are now available on Telegram

Numerous new features have been added to Telegram to make the network more interactive. The instant messaging service recently launched “Stories for Cake” to celebrate its tenth birthday. Users can now add their own music, publish stories on channels, and respond with stickers. The platform has also improved the login alerts and added a View Once option for the media. These new features’ specifics are as follows:

Channels’ Stories

By giving boosts, users can now grant access to the channels they want to use for story posting. Additionally, Telegram Premium now offers one channel-specific boost. As the channels level up and receive more boosts, they will be able to post one extra story per day to the subscribers’ feeds. Channels may ask users for their unique link in order to subscribe for boosts. Visit Channel Info> More>Statistics>Boosts to obtain a boost link for your channel.

Reaction Stickers

Users and channels can now add reaction stickers to their stories, enhancing the messaging platform’s interaction. Simply tap the cloud icon in the sticker panel to react with a sticker, then continue with your chosen emoji. Notably, subscribers have access to emojis they’ve generated themselves.

Music in Your Stories

Users can now include audio in both their photo and video stories. This enables them to produce content that includes narration, unique soundtracks, and more.

View-Once Media

Now, users have the option to send media that disappears, just like WhatsApp and Instagram. Depending on the sender, the media can be viewed for up to 30 seconds. When the recipient opens the chat, Telegram claims that the media is permanently removed.

Alerts for New Logins

Users may use this feature to get notifications on all of their devices whenever someone else login into their account. Upon receiving any such notification from Telegram, users can tap on the “No, it’s not me!” message right away to secure their account. Additionally, the platform urges users to add a password for two-step verification by going to Settings> Privacy and Security>Two-Step Verification.
