Singer Justin Bieber delivered several of his hit songs at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet, with videos and pictures of his performance quickly circulating on social media. After his performance, Justin returned to the USA early Saturday morning.
For the sangeet, Justin sported a white vest under a jacket, paired with pants, boots, and a cap. His setlist included favorites like “Love Yourself,” “Peaches,” “Where Are U Now,” and “No Brainer.” During one of his songs, Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, joined Justin on stage.
Fans were thrilled by Justin’s performances and expressed their excitement online. One fan commented, “Bieber with his old stuff is still a treat to watch.” Another person remarked, “Oh wow. He just won my heart. Look at how he is charming the invitees.” An Instagram user added, “Justin Bieber performing so many of his beautiful songs. Treat to the ears.”
Following his performance, Justin was seen at Mumbai’s Kalina airport heading back to the US. He wore the same outfit from the sangeet ceremony and took time to shake hands with people around him before entering the airport.
Justin had flown in from Los Angeles to Mumbai on Friday specifically for the sangeet ceremony. His last visit to India was in 2017 for his maiden concert in the country. According to a PTI report, Justin was paid $10 million for his performance at the event.
Anant Ambani, son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, and his fiancée Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, are set to marry on July 12, following months of pre-wedding celebrations that began on March 1 in Jamnagar. Prior to this, pop star Rihanna performed at their pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar. Last month, the couple’s cruise tour party in Italy and the South of France featured performances by singer Katy Perry, pop group Backstreet Boys, and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
