Vivo Pad 3: Potentially the First Tablet with A Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Chip

Last month, Vivo launched the Vivo Pad 3 Pro, the first tablet in the world to use the Dimensity 9300 processor. There are rumours that the tablet is also available in a conventional version called the Vivo Pad 3. Although its release date is unclear, it’s possible that the company will reveal it at the same time as the Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s, and X100s Pro, which are scheduled to launch in China on May 13.

1. Vivo Pad 3 to be world’s first Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 tablet

Recently, the PA2455 model number of a Vivo tablet was certified by the Chinese 3C authority. The tablet appears to be the basic Vivo Pad 3, as it was shown with a 44W fast charger.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip will be included in the Vivo Pad 3 tablet, according to a prior disclosure by source Digital Chat Station. For those who are unaware, the majority of the most recent Android flagship phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which has been scaled back.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is present in a few recently released smartphones, including the Redmi Turbo 3, the iQOO Z9x Turbo, and the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. The SD8G3 will also be present in the next Realme GT Neo 6. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip will be used in the Vivo Pad 3, making it the first tablet to have it.

2. Vivo Pad 3 specifications

The Vivo Pad 3 has not yet been revealed in detail by rumours. It features an LCD panel, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and supports 44W fast charging, according to the scant information that have surfaced thus far. The Pad 2 might have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, compared to the Pad 3 Pro’s up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of storage.

It’s possible that the Pad 3 will resemble the Vivo Pad 2, which made its debut in April of last year. A 12.1-inch LCD panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 2.8K resolution is included on the Pad 2. It features a 13-megapixel dual-camera setup, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 10,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 44W.

3. Vivo Pad 3 price

The starting pricing of the Vivo Pad 3 Pro is 2,999 Yuan, or around $425. Thus, it seems likely that the Pad 3 will retail for approximately 2,500 Yuan (~$350).
