Croydon, South-East London born and bred music artist Tevan is grabbing a lot of attention of late due to his music lately which is topping the charts on various platforms. What’s it that makes his talent shine bright amongst the extremely talented artists who are all over the music realm? It’s his unique style that makes him stand out from others in the same field. His in-depth knowledge about the craft has made him race past many other music artists and carve his own niche in the world of music. He jumped into the field with his maiden release “Anyway” featuring popular YouTuber JOJO HD, which went on to become a huge hit throughout 2019. His impressive combination of Afro-swing alongside South Asian/ oriental music, made the right impact, catapulting his popularity to soaring heights. More than 100K views on YouTube, and that too within a month, proved enough about his music debuting on the highly rated UK platform GRM Daily.
His next single “Cloud 9” which he dropped in the summer of 2019, again struck the right chord with the audiences, making it another popular hit. Producer ATG was involved in this project, which was predicted to be a sure shot winner since its inception. The number “Come Ride in his Mercedes” gained enough momentum and got featured in the BBC Asian Network on the Yasser show along with getting played on other local radio stations and music platforms across UK. Urban Asian even featured it as their track of the week, making Tevan’s way to stardom a lot more easier.
He was on the move, big time, and that showed by the amount of work he was being offered. He performed in front of a wide audience in Bulgaria, sharing the stage with DJ Enay, the same stage that was shared by some of the biggest names in the industry like B Young, Faydee and Yxng Bane. The Eastern European markets opened up its doors to a UK artist, which had never happened before, ever. His third single “Show Girl” which released in 2021, also made it to the top charts, backed by known names like DJ Shraii, DJ Jamz, official DJ at DesiBeatz and DJ Kye. Tevan says that he’s ever indebted to some important people who have been an integral part of his career and hold a big hand in pushing him to perform at his optimum levels. “Hot Money Studios, Smriti Singh and Patrick Osei are some names who have had a big part in making my career a big success as without them, I wouldn’t have been able to reach the position where I am right now,” says the raging UK music artist who is all set to take the music industry by storm with his work.
