The Realme 12X 5G is expected to be unveiled soon, for a price of under Rs 12,000, according to the company

April 2 is the day the Realme 12X 5G will make its Indian debut, after the April 2 launch of the OnePlus Nord CE4. Realme has now disclosed the next smartphone’s hardware specifications and pricing range, one week ahead of its official introduction. The Realme 12X 5G is expected to include a full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 45W SuperVOOC rapid charging. Furthermore, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC is hinted to be its power source.

Recall that on March 21, the Realme 12X made its debut on the Chinese market.

Features, specifications, and cost of the Realme 12X 5G:

The thickness of the Realme 12X 5G is expected to be 7.69mm. The smartphone will enable Air Gestures and come with a stereo speaker arrangement. It will also have an IP54 rating and a rainwater smart touch feature. In order to emphasize that the upcoming Realme 12X 5G would be an improvement in almost every aspect, the company has also unveiled it alongside its predecessor.

Along with having a stylish watch style similar to other smartphones in the Realme 12 series, the Realme 12X 5G will also have a dynamic button, which is similar to Apple’s action button.

The Chinese smartphone maker said in a press statement that the Realme 12X 5G will cost less than Rs 12,000 in India. It will also be compatible with 45W SuperVOOC rapid charging. It has been verified that the device would have a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display with a peak brightness of 950 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It seems to have two speakers and to be 7.69 mm thick. The phone is being marketed as the first 5G gadget under Rs 12,000 that has twin speakers and 45W quick charging.

The Realme 12X 5G in India is expected to be powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor with VC cooling, same like its Chinese equivalent. It will include an IP54-certified build and a dual back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel primary sensor at its center. The device will also include an Air Gesture function that lets users browse the phone without making physical contact.

The Realme 12X was introduced by Realme earlier this month in China. The base model, which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, costs CNY 1,399, or approximately Rs 16,000. Realme earlier this month unveiled the Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 5G in India; they retail for Rs 20,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset powers the former, while a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G SoC powers the stock Realme 12 5G.
