Early on Tuesday morning (February 4), SpaceX is scheduled to launch a second set of Starlink satellites into orbit from Florida’s Space Coast.

There is a roughly three-hour window that begins at 3:37 a.m. EST (0837 GMT) on Tuesday for a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities, to launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

About five minutes prior to launch, SpaceX will start livestreaming the activity through its X account.

About eight minutes after takeoff, assuming all goes as planned, the Falcon 9’s first stage will land on the drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. “Just Read the Instructions.”

As to the SpaceX mission description, this specific booster will be launched and landed for the 21st time. It has completed 20 flights so far, 16 of which were Starlink missions.

About 65 minutes after liftoff, the upper stage of the Falcon 9 will place the 21 Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).

So far in 2025, SpaceX has launched 14 Falcon 9 missions. Starlink flights have accounted for nine of them.

About two-thirds of the company’s more than 130 Falcon 9 flights last year were used to expand the Starlink network, the largest satellite constellation ever put together. According to astronomer and satellite tracker Jonathan McDowell, SpaceX presently has about 7,000 Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit.
