Realme Hints At New GT Series Smartphone Launch In India

With its remarkable array of features and performance capabilities, Realme’s GT series smartphone is set to alter the mid-to-high-end market sector when it launches in India. In May, the highly anticipated Realme GT series smartphone is set to emerge, broadening the brand’s array of products.

Realme is celebrating its sixth anniversary by relaunching the sixth iteration of its GT series in the Indian market, following a two-year break. This time, the goal is to establish the smartphone as a “Top Performer” in its category by concentrating on the mid-to-high-end market segment in India.

The GT series has a history of launching innovations that are first in the industry and establishing standards for creativity. For instance, the Realme GT 2 Pro included the first 2K AMOLED flat display in the world with LTPO 2.0 technology in addition to a bio-based polymer Paper Tech Master design created in partnership with Naoto Fukusawa. Similar to this, the Realme GT NEO 3 attracted notice for being the first smartphone in India to use a Dimensity 8100 5G Processor and for being the “World’s First 150W Charging Flagship.”

Based on information from a Geekbench listing, rumours state that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC may power the forthcoming GT 6. This suggests a high degree of effectiveness and performance, which is consistent with Realme’s dedication to producing potent gadgets.

Rumours suggest that the GT 6 will come with a hefty 16GB RAM configuration in at least one form. It is anticipated that this large memory capacity will enable seamless user experience and seamless multitasking, especially for demanding tasks like gaming and content development.

In terms of software, the GT 6 is expected to use Realme UI 5.0, which is probably based on the most recent version of Android 14. Realme UI has received praise for its intuitive interface and wealth of customisation possibilities, which improve the usability of Realme devices as a whole.

Another area where the GT 6 is expected to do exceptionally well is battery capacity. According to an FCC listing, the GT 6 has a strong 5,500mAh battery that is divided into two cells that are 2,680mAh each. This configuration meets the needs of power users by offering extended usage times and fast recharging when combined with support for 120W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Regarding photographic capabilities, rumours suggest that a 50MP primary camera sensor will be included, as indicated by a listing in the Camera FV-5 app. Realme has a history of placing a high priority on camera performance, so the addition of a high-resolution sensor could result in remarkable photo and video capabilities.

In addition, the model number RMX3851, which can be found on the Indonesia Telecom website, helps to identify the gadget and may even hint at its release.

GT 6 may be a rebadged GT Neo 6, which is expected to make its Chinese debut on May 9. Among its notable features is the GT Neo 6’s IP65 dust and water resistance designation, which, barring official confirmation, may also apply to the GT 6.
