Kartik Aaryan literally has his hands full of cash. On Sunday, the actor attended Ayushmann Khurrana’s Diwali party in Mumbai and won a large sum of money in games played at the event. Ayushmann even posted a video of Kartik holding a large wad of cash in his hands.

“Ye aadmi box office pe hi nahi Diwali pe bhi itne saare paise jeet gaya hai,” Ayushmann says in the video, standing alongside Kartik Aaryan, who is seen in high spirits with several 500 currency notes in his hand. Itne paise kisko milne chahiye, kaunsi image ko? (This man has won a lot of money not only at the box office, but also on Diwali. Which film deserves a lot of money)?” “I think Doctor G ko milne chahiye,” Kartik responds. Sab log jaise jald se jald nazdeekhi aur door ke cinema gharo mein (I believe Doctor G should be compensated well. Everyone should see the film in theatres near and far).” Ayushmann tells him to “khelne wapis jao” (go back).

Ayushmann captioned the video on Instagram, “Yeh aadmi chahta hai ki #DoctorG ko box office par paise milne chahiye!! (This man hopes Doctor G does well at the box office) @kartikaaryan #DiwaliBash.”

Fans of both actors were overjoyed to see them together. “Koki with Ayush ommggg I can’t believe it,” one fan said. “2 self-made superstars together,” said another. “When boys find money in their jeans,” one fan joked. Another supporter stated, “ED ki raid dalane padegi fir” (The Enforcement Directorate will have to raid your home).

Doctor G, a campus comedy starring Ayushmann, was released in theatres on Friday. It made Rs. 9 crore in the first two days. Rakul Preet Singh, his co-star, also attended the party.

Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of his latest film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. With a gross worldwide collection of 266 crore, it is the third highest grossing Bollywood film of 2022.
