‘I’m not dead yet,’ Samantha Ruth Prabhu says in response to exaggerated headlines: ‘My illness isn’t life-threatening’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has slammed publications for running exaggerated headlines about her health.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is promoting her upcoming Telugu thriller Yashoda, has opened up about her health condition in a promotional interview. An emotional Samantha recalled her battle with her condition and clarified that she is not in a life-threatening stage, wishing the media could have avoided their exaggerated reporting on her health condition.

Samantha took to Instagram on Monday to share a post in which she stated that she is preparing for the Yashoda promotions. A clip from her promotional interview has gone viral on social media. She is seen becoming emotional while discussing how she dealt with her health condition.

An emotional “As I said in my Instagram post, some days are good, some days are bad,” Samantha explained. Some days, I felt like taking even one more step would be difficult. But, looking back, I’m amazed that I’ve survived so much and come this far. “I’m here to fight.”

Samantha clarified in the same clip that her condition is not life-threatening. “I’d like to clarify something. I read several articles that described my condition as potentially fatal. It’s not life-threatening at this point. I’m still alive for the time being. “I don’t think those headlines were particularly necessary,” she explained.

Samantha plays a surrogate mother who will go to any length to protect her child in Yashoda. The trailer for the film was recently released, and it promises to be an exciting thriller with plenty of opportunities for Samantha to show off her action skills. There’s even a brief scene in which she fights a few guards with just a baton.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma, and others also appear in the film.
