With impacts from antiquated societies like the Phoenicians, Assyrians, Romans, and Ottomans, the historical backdrop of Lebanon makes the country home to one of the most different societies in the area. The present Doodle observes Lebanon’s Independence Day, which remembers the finish of the French Mandate over Lebanon in 1943.
