Dragons are Coming on Disney+Hotstar: “House of the Dragon” will begin streaming on August 22.

Time for action! There is now a full-length trailer for HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, just one month before the August 21 launch of House of the Dragon!

The Dying of the Dragons, a novella included in George R.R. Martin’s 2018 book Fire & Blood, served as the inspiration for the series. Prince Daemon Targaryen is portrayed by Matt Smith, and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen is portrayed by Emma D’Arcy.

The Targaryen civil war between siblings Aegon II and Rhaenyra, who fought for the throne following their father’s death, will be followed in “House of the Dragon” and is known as the Dance of the Dragons.

While the series will release on August 21 worldwide on HBO Max, the Indian audience can watch House of the Dragon on Disney+ Hotstar a day later. The makers announced the same recently on Twitter and wrote, “News from King’s Landing- House of the Dragon starts streaming 22 Aug, only on Disney+ Hotstar.

The series will be available to stream. In addition to airing on HBO, House of the Dragon will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

The first season will be 10 episodes. Much like most seasons of Game of Thrones, Season 1 of House of the Dragon will consist of 10 episodes.

House of the Dragon premieres Sunday, Aug. 21 on HBO.
