On May 22, Realme plans to introduce the GT 6T smartphone to the Indian market. The company has teased that this will be the first smartphone in India to use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 in a number of releases. Furthermore, it has been largely established that the GT 6T is really a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which is only available in China.
1. Desing & display
The Realme GT 6T’s design is an exact replica of the GT Neo 6 SE’s, with a two-tone appearance, two camera bulges, and a third cutout for a dual flash module. Its smooth edge that slants backwards makes grasping it effortless and comfortable.
They anticipate the gadget to have a 6.78-inch OLED screen with incredibly thin bezels on the front. The phone is anticipated to employ BOE’s 8T LTPO AMOLED display, which has an adjustable refresh rate of 0.5-120Hz, 1.5K (2780 x 1264 pixel) resolution, and a peak brightness of up to 6000nits. Having said that, the phone’s highest manual brightness is 1000 nits, and its normal global maximum brightness is probably restricted to 1600 nits.
2. Performance
The freshly launched Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip is verified to be used in the Realme GT 6T, as was previously mentioned. This chip has a max clock speed of 2.8GHz and is built using TSMC’s 4nm technology. This processor was created by Qualcomm for mid-range devices that prioritise performance. Additionally, Realme hinted that the GT 6T would be able to surpass 1.5 million points on AnTuTu, so you won’t have to worry about frame dips when playing games.
Three variants of the GT 6T are reportedly planned: 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. These details are based on leaks. LPDDR5x RAM will be used in all three versions. However, the two other models will use UFS 4.0 storage, and the 128GB model will use UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone will feature what is reportedly the largest twin vapour chamber cooling mechanism in the industry to control thermals. During extended gaming sessions, the gadget won’t overheat thanks to the 9-layer cooling technology it offers.
3. Optics
One of the few areas where Realme has not released any official information is the camera; still, there’s a good likelihood that the GT 6T will come pre-configured with the same hardware as the GT Neo 6 SE. Thus, the Sony IMX882 50MP primary camera with OIS support and the Sony IMX355 8MP ultra-wide camera are what we can anticipate to be included with the GT 6T. Regarding the front, the gadget might have a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera.
4. Battery
It is already established that the GT 6T will have a 5500mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging. According to the manufacturer, the 120W rapid charger can fully charge a battery to 50% capacity in just 10 minutes, providing users with enough energy to last all day.
5. Pricing
While the device’s price has not yet been disclosed, a previous leak indicated that one of the models will set you back ₹31,999 in India. The 12GB + 256GB variant is anticipated to cost ₹29,999, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB + 512GB editions are anticipated to cost ₹35,999 and ₹29,999, respectively.
