Mukesh Ambani and his son’s fiancée visited an Andhra temple and donated $1.5 million

Radhika Merchant, the fiancée of Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant, and Manoj Modi, the director of Reliance Retail Ltd., were in attendance.

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), paid a visit to the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday. Mr. Ambani was accompanied by Radhika Merchant, the fiancée of his son Anant, and Manoj Modi, the director of Reliance Retail Ltd.

A separate trust that oversees the temples in addition to the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, received the 1.5 crore he offered.

Mukesh Ambani and Radhika Merchant could be seen in a video praying at the shrine.

In the vicinity of the temple, they also fed an elephant and asked for its blessing.

In order to obtain Lord Venkateswara’s blessings, Mr. Ambani claimed he visited the temple.

“We Indians are quite proud of the temple because it is getting better and better every year. To seek blessings for everyone present, “he stated.

Mukesh Ambani had earlier on Monday visited the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.
