With the Galaxy A-series, Samsung brings AI-powered features to a budget-friendly device

Samsung has officially unveiled the newest additions to its popular Galaxy A-series, introducing the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26, each packed with enhanced AI capabilities and upgraded hardware. These devices boast cutting-edge artificial intelligence features designed to elevate user experience, particularly in image editing and performance optimization, as highlighted by The Verge. Among the most exciting advancements is the inclusion of Samsung’s “awesome intelligence,” a suite of AI-driven tools aimed at revolutionizing mobile photography.
One standout AI feature is Best Face, an advanced editing tool that enables users to modify the facial expressions of up to five individuals within a motion photo. This technology, first seen in January with the launch of the Galaxy S25, closely mirrors Google Pixel’s Best Take, allowing users to perfect group shots with ease. Beyond photography enhancements, Samsung has also introduced hardware improvements, particularly in the Galaxy A56, which now houses the upgraded Exynos 1580 chipset. To ensure smoother operation and better heat dissipation, the device is equipped with an expanded vapor chamber cooling system, providing enhanced performance for gaming, multitasking, and intensive applications.
The Galaxy A56 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, ensuring vibrant visuals and ultra-responsive scrolling. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera for capturing fine details. As per The Verge, the Galaxy A56 is set to arrive in the US later this year, with a starting price of $499. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 will be available exclusively at Best Buy beginning March 26, priced at $399, while the more affordable Galaxy A26 will hit the market on March 28, starting at $299.
UK consumers can get their hands on these new devices even earlier, as the Galaxy A26 launches on March 19 with a starting price of €299. In addition to powerful AI features and upgraded hardware, the latest Galaxy A-series smartphones promise long-term software support, offering up to six years of Android OS and security updates. Moreover, the Galaxy A26 is built with an IP67 rating, ensuring durability against dust and water exposure, making it a resilient choice for users seeking reliability in everyday usage.
