Swiss International University Earns Prestigious TAG-EDUQA Accreditation in Alignment with AROQA Standards

Published by Brand Buzz on

The Swiss International University (SIU) is a globally recognized university known for pioneering unique learning methodologies, and it is pleased to announce that Tag-Eduqa has successfully accredited it. This prestigious accreditation now places SIU in the distinguished company of other educational institutions that have satisfied the stringent academic quality standards set forth by the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA). The record is a testament to SIU’s dedication to providing students throughout the United States and all over the world a high-quality and affordable education.

Accreditation was directed by His Highness Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, a leading Arab business figure and proponent of educational reform in the Arab world, and currently the Chairman of TAG-EDUQA. Further enhancing this accolade, the Secretary-General of the Arab League receives an adjunctive title as President of TAG-EDUQA, highlighting the regional and international importance of this accreditation.

This recognition is a powerful affirmation of SIU’s commitment to quality education, student-focused teaching, and relevancy in today’s world. It represents a turning point in the strategic plan of the University to reach out throughout the Arab region and extend its contribution to the international academic community. TAG-EDUQA students shall receive a certificate that is internationally acclaimed and will make their future programs credible and reputable.

“We are incredibly excited to have earned this accreditation on our initial application, and the recognition is an amazing accomplishment beyond our wildest dreams,” says Derya Briand, our Academic Program Director at SIU. It doesn’t just validate the standards of scholarship we uphold in the present but also guarantees for posterity the same degree of excellence for generations of students yet to come. Our application for NEASC accreditation demonstrates our commitment to aligning with both global standards and local sensibilities.

This milestone is building namespaces at a time when SIU is growing its academic presence and partnerships globally. The university is a member of the international university network focused on academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and educational innovation. Its partner schools are OUS International Academy in Zurich, ISBM International Business Management School in Lucerne, ISB International Vocational Institute in Dubai, and SIU’s campuses in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. All of this makes these institutions the first members of a new global education model based on openness, academic standards, and cultural interaction.

The accreditation also underscores SIU’s capability to balance local educational requirements and international academic quality—an increasingly weighty evaluation factor in Arab higher education. As an increasing number of students from the Arab region are looking for internationally recognized institutions, the commitment to student outcomes, ethical leadership, and global career preparedness programs at SIU has been well recognized and approved by accreditation bodies and educational communities.

In the future, SIU aspires to further enhance its academic profile, to grow its global network of partners, and to make its high-quality, research-driven education attainable to everyone in the world. The TAG-EDUQA accreditation, which is based on AROQA’s holistic quality assurance system, will be instrumental in encouraging these initiatives and in strengthening the leadership of SIU in international higher education.

It is a testament to the recruiting power of SIU’s internationalized curriculum and commitment to providing future-ready academic programs that meet regional and international standards.
