It is not a small thing to come from nothing and achieve your dreams. The difficult path to success is not something that other people will notice. Still, the journey is important to your success story also. Therefore, the story of Ricky Villanueva, a marketing leader entrepreneur and self-made millionaire, is quite important to other entrepreneurs.

Born in Peru, Ricky immigrated to the United States when he was 5. Years later, after being told about Network Marketing, he dropped out of college to pursue the dream of becoming a marketing genius. “I really wasn’t enjoying school. It was proving to be a bit redundant for the dream I was chasing. So, when someone came to me and introduced me to direct sales and network marketing, I quit school the very same day,” said Ricky. Up till then, he was continuously working since the age of 13. In fact, in 2016, even though he had a successful career, Ricky had to start working in a new company all over again so he could raise capital to invest in his network marketing business. Not surprisingly, it only took him 90 days to raise the money and he quit his job once again and went back to do network marketing full time. In 2019, he launched his own company which today has over 100,000 representatives, 350,000 customers, and has made over $80 million in sales.

“The last ten years have had a lot of ups and downs for me even while I was becoming a multi-millionaire.” The ten years before that were even more difficult but they made me who I am today,” said Ricky. He has been working non-stop since he was 13. Initially, he worked for less than the minimum wage doing odd jobs where he could get them. He picked weeds, planted trees, cut bushes, mowed lawns, swept driveways, etc. for three years before he was old enough to work for a paycheck. His career in phone sales was good enough to put him through college, even if he ended up never finishing his education before becoming a network marketer.

Ricky’s journey wouldn’t have been a success without the hardships he had been through. The odd jobs he did made him the millionaire he is today.
