Google Introduces Veo 3 in 71 Countries with Audio Capabilities

Google released the Veo 3 video generation model to a wider audience over the weekend. On Saturday, the Mountain View software giant announced that, in addition to the early testers, the AI model will be made available in 71 more countries via the Gemini app and web version. The AI video generator is currently only accessible to Gemini’s paying subscribers. Veo 3, which was unveiled at Google I/O 2025 last week, is notable for its native audio production capabilities and other additional enhancements.
How to try Veo 3
Only Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers have access to Veo 3. Only a trial pack of Veo 3 is available to Pro users on the web; a mobile version that lets them make ten videos is on the horizon. Ultra customers, meanwhile, have maximum access to the Gemini mobile and web platforms. Woodward acknowledged that the limit is updated every day, but he has not disclosed the precise limit.
Woodward also revealed details for Flow, a new AI filmmaking tool that makes use of Veo 3, which enables producers to customize the created clip by adjusting camera movements, ingredient placement, and other aspects. Flow can be found at flow.google. Pro subscribers can create 10 videos a month, while Ultra users can create 125 videos (formerly 83) a month.
Veo 3 is Now Accessible in 71 Countries
Josh Woodward, a vice president at Google Labs and Gemini, revealed the Veo 3 AI model’s extension to 71 new nations in a post on X (previously known as Twitter). Notably, the UK, India, and the countries of the European Union are not included in the initial deployment.
“Working to enable India as fast as we can!” Woodward responded to a commenter’s question about when users may anticipate Veo 3 to come in India.
Nations Obtaining Model Access
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, the United States, and Zimbabwe are among the nations that are gaining access to the model.
Veo 3 Access Details
Only Google AI Pro (formerly Google One AI Premium) and Google AI Ultra members can access Veo 3. Only the video generating model on the web version of Gemini will be available to Pro subscribers. According to Woodward, the mobile app will soon be available.
Pro subscribers currently only receive a trial pack of ten video generations. This membership tier doesn’t include any extra credits or refreshes. However, users of the $249.99 (about Rs. 21,000) Ultra plan can access Veo 3 via the Gemini website and mobile app. According to Google, the AI model’s maximum rate limit and daily refreshes will be applied to this tier. The exact number is unknown at this time.
