Apple Introduces Apple Intelligence to Indian Users of Macs, iPhones, and iPads

Apple Intelligence enhances the Apple Vision Pro experience with sophisticated capabilities for increased productivity, smooth task automation, and visual creativity—all while maintaining strong privacy safeguards. It will extend throughout the year with additional features and language support, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and more. It will launch in April with visionOS 2.4 for English users in the United States.
Apple Intelligence: More Intelligent and Available in More Languages
In addition to localised English for Singapore and India, Apple Intelligence, the personal intelligence system that provides useful and pertinent intelligence, will soon be available in additional languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified).
Features
The upgrade will bring in Genmoji for customised emojis, Image Playground for AI-generated images, and systemwide Writing Tools for text editing and proofreading. Additionally, users will get improved photo search and Priority Messages in Mail.
The update will also incorporate ChatGPT into Writing Tools and Siri, allowing users to communicate directly with OpenAI’s language model. By hiding IP addresses and providing optional account connectivity, Apple protects user privacy.
Writing Tools: Users can edit, proofread, and summarise material almost anywhere they write, including in third-party apps, mail, and notes.
Rewrite allows users to modify the tone of their writing to be more professional, personable, or succinct. They can also utilise Describe Your modify to specify the change they want to make.
Availability
The iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPads, and Macs with M1 processors or later will all support Apple Intelligence. In addition to India, the upgrade will include AI capabilities in a number of languages, including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), English (Singapore), and Portuguese.
Privacy and AI processing
Apple Intelligence is built for customer privacy and uses a combination of on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute. Apple states that in order to guarantee data security, its cloud-based processing is subjected to independent monitoring and cryptographic verification.
With iOS 18, Apple Intelligence was first released in US English. Apple is attempting to reach a larger audience with its AI features by expanding to India and other places.
Following the installation of the iOS 18.4 update, customers will be able to use the features immediately on compatible devices and at no cost.
