Anker Upgrades Soundcore Sleep Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation

Anker has released the Soundcore Sleep A30 earphones, which now have active noise cancellation (ANC) for enhanced sleep and noise reduction. The A30 combines ANC with all-night battery life for a more efficient and comfortable sleep experience than earlier models that only used a snug fit for passive noise isolation.
Similar to earlier iterations, Anker is offering the new Soundcore Sleep A30 earphones for preorder through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign that launches today. The earbuds will be fully accessible on Amazon and Soundcore’s online shop somewhere in August 2025. Although the Sleep A30 costs $229.99, which is significantly higher than the Sleep A20’s $149.99 price from the previous year, the A30 is available to early Kickstarter donors for $139.
There is less strain when wearing the Sleep A30 earbuds and resting them on a pillow if you sleep on your side because they are now 7% thinner and have a smaller design that prevents them from sticking out of your ears. Anker provides three sizes of memory foam tips, four sizes of silicone ear tips, and three sizes of ear wings to ensure a secure fit.
Sophisticated Sleep Monitoring and Practical App Features
Noise reduction isn’t the main goal of the A30. You can keep an eye on your sleeping habits with its assistance. With the Soundcore mobile app, you can access detailed statistics about your sleep quality thanks to built-in sleep tracking and sleep position monitoring.
Other features include a Find My Earbud function for those who toss and turn at night, a customizable wake-up alarm with a snooze feature, and the ability to store sounds offline and play white noise without an external device.
The A30 can run for up to nine hours on its own or up to forty-five hours with its charging case, while the A20 can run for up to fourteen hours on a single charge. But only when you’re listening to white noise or other sleep-promoting sounds that are stored on the buds themselves. Battery life is further decreased to up to 6.5 hours or 35 hours with the case when streaming music or podcasts from a phone.
What Anker is referring to as “Adaptive Snore Masking technology” has been added to the Sleep A30’s charging case. It evaluates the frequency and amplitude of snoring sounds from a nearby individual and creates “noise masking audio” that is transmitted to the buds to assist drown it out.
Additionally, the new earbuds have a private repeatable alarm with snooze functionality, a Find My Earbud feature in case they fall out in the night and get lost in the sheets, and sleep monitoring and sleep position tracking so you can see how restful or eventful your night was through the Soundcore mobile app.
