Amid Divorce Speculations, Dhanashree Verma Reposts Memories with Yuzvendra Chahal
Choreographer Dhanashree Verma has reinstated her Instagram photos with her husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, amid ongoing divorce speculations. This move comes shortly after Chahal was spotted at the Champions Trophy final in Dubai, spending time with RJ Mahvash, which further fueled rumors about their relationship.
Earlier, Dhanashree had removed all pictures featuring Yuzvendra from her Instagram profile, intensifying divorce talks among fans and followers. However, she has now restored images capturing their memorable moments together, including snapshots from their dates, outings, collaborative brand promotions, wedding celebrations, and various special occasions.
In addition to restoring the photos, Dhanashree also shared a cryptic Instagram story on Monday, seemingly addressing the speculations and discussions around her personal life. Her post read, “Blaming women is always in fashion,” which many interpreted as a response to the circulating rumors.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, often showcased their bond through fun Instagram reels and public appearances. Dhanashree, who also gained popularity through her participation in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, was frequently seen cheering for Yuzvendra from the stands during his cricket matches. Despite their seemingly strong public relationship, reports suggest that they filed for divorce in 2024.
Addressing these reports, Dhanashree’s lawyer, Advocate Aditi Mohoni, confirmed that the divorce proceedings are indeed ongoing. “I have no comments to make on the proceedings as the matter is currently sub judice,” Mohoni told India Today in a statement. There is a lot of false information out there, therefore the media should do their research before reporting.
Among various claims circulating online, one report that gained significant attention alleged that Dhanashree had demanded a hefty Rs 60 crore in alimony. However, her family has firmly denied these accusations, clarifying that no such financial demand has been made. They also urged the public to avoid spreading unverified or baseless information regarding the matter.
As the court proceedings continue, fans and followers remain curious about the couple’s next steps, while both Dhanashree and Chahal have chosen to remain tight-lipped about the situation.
