A new model of the KTM 390 Adventure X will be launched in 2025 soon

KTM has officially introduced the 2025 390 Adventure X, listing it on its Indian website and revealing all key specifications. This latest addition to the 390 Adventure lineup is a touring-oriented variant that shares its design with the standard model but comes with a few alterations. It retains the 19-inch front wheel with alloys but omits certain advanced features such as cornering traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control, and multiple riding modes.
Despite these omissions, the 390 Adventure X remains well-equipped with several rider-friendly features. It includes a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear shifts, off-road ABS for better braking performance on tricky terrain, a ride-by-wire throttle for precise control, and a five-inch H50 TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The motorcycle also comes with full LED lighting, including an LED projector headlamp, enhancing visibility.
While the standard model is fitted with fully adjustable suspension, the Adventure X features non-adjustable WP Apex front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock. However, both versions offer an identical suspension travel of 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, ensuring capable off-road performance. With a ground clearance of 227mm and a manageable seat height of 825mm, the bike is well-suited for a variety of terrains.
Fuel capacity stands at 14.5 liters, which should allow for a real-world riding range of approximately 300-350 km on a full tank. Weighing in at 182kg kerb, it is notably lighter by 14kg compared to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
At the heart of the 390 Adventure X is a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder LC4c engine, delivering 45.3bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 39Nm at 6,500rpm. This rev-happy motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a PASC slipper clutch for smoother downshifts. The engine is known for its lively performance, strong mid-range, and refined nature.
KTM is expected to launch the 390 Adventure X in India within the next few days, with deliveries anticipated by late February 2025. Given the pricing of the existing model, it is likely to be offered at around ₹2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
